PBS Hand-Crank Lantern: the details
The PBS Hand-Crank Lantern makes its own light. Charge it over USB when you can, and crank it when you can't. A power cut at home. A late night at camp. A dark corner of the garage.
What it does
- Crank for light. A built-in hand-crank dynamo charges the lantern by hand, with no outlet needed.
- USB as a backup. Top it up over USB whenever power is available.
- Holds its charge. A built-in lithium cell keeps the charge between uses.
- Two brightness levels. The LED has a high mode and a low mode.
